Drive from Cabarita Beach South to Pottsville.

After a relaxing morning when Ken slept in , we had lunch and he decided to drive south further to NSW along the Tweed to Pottsville. This was a 30 minute drive and he stopped at several beaches to take photos and enjoy the sun. This is a small village township, and is really a home for retirees and at this time of year surfers.

There is a second tier surfing competition at Cabarita Beach and parking is a nightmare..

This was was easy and enjoyable drive to see some magnificent beaches and usually wonderful surf but today the surf was only 4-6 feet, and a couple of the surf=ferscI talked to said it wasn’t worth.

He drove back and took photos at Cabarita Beach as the Surf Carnival was finishing.

It is a busy township and is really the last before. You come to the bustling suburbs of Kingscliff and then Tweed Heads.
