Opera at Twin towns Resort with the Marvellous Paul Tabone.
We had a leisurely mrning at the Accor Resort before setting off for Tweed Heads to visit the Twin towns Resort for the show by Paul Tabone titled Viva Pavarotti which was a collection of about 10 different operas pieces which Paul sang. We had seen home some 2 years ago and this was quite a different performance. The Show Theatre area was less than half full and we had arrived at 9.35am had a cappuccino before going to the theatre. Our Seats were at the back of the first section and we throughly enjoyed the 90 minute performance. Paul now lives in the UK and travels Europe playing to packed houses featuring the works sound by Pavarotti and the other tenures .
The show also included a young man’s of 13 years of age singing solo as well as an older woman of 22 who was simply outstanding . They put together a spectacular show which we thoroughly enjoyed.
From here we made our way to the Coolangatta Surf Club where we enjoyed an excellent lunch . Ken had a Rump Streak and Jeanette a Fisherman’s Basket. . It is the most perfect day. Ken then went to the Surf Beach to take some photos and there is real surf for the first time.

Another great day and back to our Resort for dinner . We have seen some wonderful surf with plants of board riders out enjoying themselves. The show at Twin towns was excellent followed by a most satisfying lunch. The Days continue to pass quickly.it has been a wonderful holiday.
Tomorrow we have a day of rest and getting washing up to date before Ken has gold on Thursday and then we pack to fly home to Melbourne..
It has been a terrific two weeks and the warm weather and clear blue skies give us real joy.

This afternoon Ken ordered more prescription drugdgs and injections fopr next week. He then commences the next base of his Radiation treatment. We remain positive if with a degree of apprehension. It is what it is !!!!
