Sailing in the Spectacular Wachau Valley.
Good morning, after several busy days today is the equivalent of a “sea day” with a variety of relaxing activities on the beautiful Viking longboat as we. Now make our way to Vienna and sail through the spectacular Wachau Valley with its banks of vineyards.
We wake early to see the last of the lochs and then we sail slowly along the river taking in the spectacular rural scenery.
The small villages and an abundance of vines growing up the banks of the hills provided a stunning back drop.
This is known as some of the best wine growing areas of the world.
We enjoy a relaxed breakfast then after cleaning our teeth return to the top deck to sit in the morning g sunshine taking in the panoramic views and feeling very comfortable with thje world.
