Sossusvlei Desert Lodge - Namib Desert - Simply Unbelievable.
We arrive by light aircraft after an hours flight from Windhoek International Airport. We had flown to Windhoek then been transferred to The Olive Hotel, a 5 Star Boutique establishment and with amazing art deco style rooms. The next morning we were picked up and taken to the Airport for local flights in Windhoek and we flew to Sossusvlei Desert Lodge by a very small plane. This hour flight took us into the Namib Desert, a stark desolate rough environment.
We land in the middle of nowhere, we’re put into a Land Cruiser with our luggage and 10 minutes later we see and then arrive a a stunning fly beautifully Deseet Lodge.
Again my words are inadequate in describing this 6 star eco lodge with stunningly beautiful geographic features, architecture that’s brilliantly hides this resort against hills and mlojuntaiknous backgrounds with the different colours of the desert in the foregrounds.
We are welcomed with the mandatory drinks and cold towels, then we enjoy lunch at a table seated on the balcony in a cool desert wind. The food is simply magnificent.
The resort is stunning and you need to review the photographs to appreciate the architecture and symmetry against the desert.
Then we are taken to our Lodge Suite and it is simply stunning and unbelievable.
We arrive to take in several ani,malls at the water hole, which we look out toward over the infinity pool.
There is a variety of fittings and fixtures of top quality. .

The resort and facilities at Sousevelei Namibia were out of this world. Situated in the Namibian Desert atop a small plateau overlooking the Namib Desert , we were provided with everything of 6 star luxury. an unforgettable experience.
